You'll find us out and about in the community providing edu-tainment workshops on a huge range of subjects.

At home you'll find us cranking up the music and playing aesthetic tetris with found and thrifted objects for sale at markets and in our online shop. 

Hi, I'm Shayde - the founder of Artistic Disorder. Thanks for popping by!

I created Artistic Disorder to fuel curiosity, learning and creativity and share my passion for experiential learning with those around me. Everything Artistic Disorder does stands guided by our values of inclusivity, growth, lifelong learning and the power of creative play in supporting well-being.  

I graduated from Charles Darwin University with a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours). I worked in addictions, parenting support, youth work, disability advocacy, domestic violence, community development, health promotion, child well-being and homelessness.   

I then studied for a Master of Information Science at Curtin University. I found my passion for creating and facilitating workshops and experiences in public libraries and local history museums. My expertise provides educational and engaging experiences for all ages - from early literacy to adult-focused programs and events. 

I have an endless passion and fascination for historical crafts and customs, upcycling and finding new and exciting ways to engage children of all ages in learning about the world and discovering their creative process. I love to roller-skate and create quirky artworks using historical techniques in my spare time. 

Ducky is a young adult with a passion for inclusive education and experiences - especially for those who are neurodiverse, disabled and/or LGBTQI+.  Ducky loves drawing, crafting, Lego, collecting vinyl, research, repairing vintage audio equipment, Dungeons and Dragons and collecting graphic novels. 

You'll find Ducky promoting our creations at local markets, managing our online store and offering individual assistance at our edu-tainment workshops.
